William “Billy” Fortune is a songwriter from the Appalachian area of Eastern Ohio. Growing up, he picked up about every instrument he could get his hands on, allowing him later in life a wide array of possibilities with various instruments. Fortune is a graduating senior at CCM from the program Commercial Music Production. As a next step, he wants to help fellow songwriters find intriguing ways to use lyrics to reach an audience. He locally owns Fortunate Phrases, which is a songwriting company based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Fortune strives to help songwriters find depth within their lyrics and act as a shoulder to lean on and tell stories. Are you ready to share your visions with the world?
